Marcos Senesi has recently been tipped to leave Bournemouth, with Juventus among the clubs eager to land him.
The Argentine centre-back is set to become a free agent at the end of June, attracting interest from several top sides. Reports from Tuttosport suggest Juventus have proposed a four-year deal worth €3 million per season, though it’s unclear if the 28-year-old will agree to those terms.
Tottenham are also in the race and are reportedly ready to offer a more lucrative €4 million annual salary. Spurs are looking to strengthen their defence, and bringing in an experienced Premier League player like Senesi would add both quality and depth. With defensive frailties exposed this season, reinforcing the backline is a clear priority.
There is further uncertainty in Tottenham’s defence, as Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have both been linked with potential exits. Meanwhile, Radu Drăgușin could also depart due to limited playing time, meaning Spurs may need multiple reinforcements.
A free transfer for Senesi would be a smart piece of business, but convincing him to join could prove difficult. While Tottenham may have greater financial power than Juventus, their current battle near the bottom of the table could make a move to a more competitive, trophy-challenging club more appealing.
