Everton have stayed in close touch with Tottenham over a possible move to bring Richarlison back to Merseyside, TEAMtalk claims.
The Brazilian forward swapped Everton for Spurs back in 2022, and while he’s mostly been used as a squad option in North London, he still played a key part in Tottenham’s Europa League triumph last term.
Injury troubles for Dominic Solanke opened the door for the 29-year-old to feature more often last season — he racked up 43 appearances across all competitions, chipping in with 12 goals and five assists.
With only a year left on his Spurs deal, though, talk over his next move has picked up pace heading into this summer’s window.
According to TEAMtalk, Roberto De Zerbi isn’t pushing to move him on, but Tottenham wouldn’t stand in his way if Richarlison signals he’s ready to go. Everton, for their part, want him back and have kept the lines of communication open with Spurs — and the player himself is said to be genuinely keen on a Merseyside return. With his contract running down, Tottenham may end up needing to accept a discounted fee, with Transfermarkt pricing him at around £21 million.

Even with their interest, Everton reportedly won’t push for a formal bid unless they first offload either Thierno Barry or Beto.
Barry, signed from Villarreal, had a mixed first season, netting eight times in 41 outings. Beto hasn’t fared much better since arriving from Udinese, managing 10 goals and one assist in 40 games.
That leaves Everton potentially in the market for a more reliable goal threat — and Richarlison ticks that box. Still sharp and experienced at 29, he could give the Toffees extra firepower up front, making a reunion a sensible move for both sides.
Whether Everton turn their interest into an actual offer before the window shuts remains to be seen.
