Tottenham may be edging toward significant changes in their goalkeeping department, as reports indicate the club is quietly receptive to the idea of parting ways with Guglielmo Vicario. While the Italian has been Spurs’ undisputed No.1 since his arrival, his long-term future in North London has been questioned amid a dip in form and growing interest from Serie A.
According to TEAMTALK transfer insider Dean Jones, Spurs are surveying the goalkeeper market on two levels. On one hand, they are looking for a high-quality deputy capable of challenging for the starting role, while on the other, they are discreetly monitoring top-tier options who could become a permanent replacement if Vicario is sold.
This evolving stance is reportedly linked to renewed interest from Inter Milan, who are said to be considering Vicario as a possible successor to veteran shot-stopper Yann Sommer.
