All Terms Agreed” – Fabrizio Romano Delivers Major Liverpool Transfer Update.
Fabrizio Romano has provided a significant update on a Liverpool transfer target, revealing on X, formerly Twitter, that the Champions League holders have now opened direct negotiations with Barcelona over the player’s transfer fee.
Liverpool had previously been linked with the 26-year-old winger, but their attention now appears to be firmly focused on PSG duo Ibrahim Mbaye and Bradley Barcola.
PSG Make Their Move for Ferran Torres

PSG’s growing interest, combined with Ferran Torres’ impressive performances at the World Cup, appears to have made a potential move to Liverpool far less realistic than it might have seemed before the summer transfer window opened.
From Liverpool’s perspective, there is also a clear reason to remain patient. Mbaye could reportedly be available for around €50 million (£42.8m), making the Senegalese winger an attractive option for Andoni Iraola’s side.
However, everything depends on whether Liverpool can successfully complete the two deals they are currently pursuing.
What Could Torres Have Offered Liverpool?
The main concern with choosing Mbaye over Torres is that the PSG youngster is a much less experienced and polished option.
Ibrahim Mbaye| Ferran Torres
0.3 non-penalty xG| 0.6 non-penalty xG
0.19 xA| 0.08 xA
1.81 chances created| 1.05 chances created
0.18 big chances created| 0.23 big chances created
1.9 successful dribbles| 0.41 successful dribbles
6.23 touches in opposition box| 5.69 touches in opposition box
0.99 possessions won in final third| 0.41 possessions won in final third.
Those numbers show that Mbaye is certainly not lacking in attacking quality despite his age. The 18-year-old has already made 15 senior starts across all competitions for Luis Enrique’s PSG side, highlighting the level of trust he has earned.

Liverpool could ideally benefit from adding more experience to their attack. A player such as Bradley Barcola could provide a more established replacement for some of the creativity and quality lost following Mohamed Salah’s departure, while Mbaye could represent a high-potential long-term project.
If Liverpool are genuinely considering signing both wingers from PSG, remaining patient could also benefit them, allowing the French club to complete its own transfer business without unnecessary complications.
