Arsenal Agree Personal Terms With £34m-Rated Winger Ahead of Deadline
Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with highly rated Lyon winger Malick Fofana as they push to complete another attacking addition before the transfer deadline.
The 21-year-old Belgium international is now said to be keen on joining the Premier League champions, with his representatives reportedly encouraging Lyon to accept Arsenal’s offer.
Lyon are believed to value Fofana at around €40 million (£34m), although Arsenal are reportedly unwilling to match that full valuation as negotiations continue.
Fofana has attracted interest from several clubs, including Inter Milan and Roma, but reports suggest the winger and his representatives are prioritising a move to Arsenal.
The youngster endured an injury-hit 2025/26 campaign, making only 16 appearances in all competitions. However, he has started the new season strongly, scoring in each of his last two matches for Lyon.
Arsenal are looking to strengthen their attack amid expected departures, making Fofana a potential key addition before the transfer window closes.
