Tottenham Hotspur supporters appear to have lost patience with Igor Tudor after the team’s disappointing 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Tudor stepped in to replace Thomas Frank on an interim basis in February at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but results have not improved. Spurs are still without a Premier League win under his leadership and now sit just one point above the relegation zone.
Frustration among fans was evident, with many leaving the stadium early as Forest strengthened their survival hopes through goals from Igor Jesus, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Taiwo Awoniyi.
Tudor is now under serious pressure, and a decision regarding his future at Spurs is expected during the upcoming international break. Despite entering the match with some positive momentum — including a draw against Liverpool FC and a Champions League win over Atlético Madrid — Spurs struggled to recover once Gibbs-White’s shot slipped past goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.
Supporters quickly voiced their anger on social media, with many calling for Tudor to be dismissed immediately. Some fans also criticized the players’ performances and blamed the club’s leadership, arguing that problems extend beyond the manager alone.
Meanwhile, managerial speculation is already underway. Former football executive Keith Wyness has suggested that Roberto De Zerbi is a leading candidate for the job after leaving Olympique de Marseille earlier this year. De Zerbi previously impressed in the Premier League with Brighton & Hove Albion, guiding them to Europa League qualification for the first time.
If Spurs delay their decision until the summer, former manager Mauricio Pochettino — currently in charge of the United States men’s national soccer team — is expected to be their top target.
Ultimately, any managerial change could depend on whether Tottenham can avoid relegation, with just seven league matches left this season.
