Tottenham have wrapped up their summer business away from the first team by confirming the signing of 16-year-old midfielder Kwasi Senyah from Wolverhampton Wanderers. It caps off a hectic window that saw 54 ins and outs across Roberto De Zerbi’s senior squad and Wayne Burnett’s under-21 setup, with De Zerbi’s side alone bringing in ten new faces before the academy got its own late addition.
Announcing the move, Spurs confirmed Senyah joins as a first-year scholar and will link up with the club’s Under-18s squad. He arrives with an impressive résumé for his age, having made his Under-18 Premier League bow for Wolves at just 14 back in January 2025, going on to feature regularly at that level throughout last season while still at school.
His rapid progress didn’t stop there — Senyah also broke into Wolves’ Under-21 side, making his debut against Monaco in the Premier League International Cup this past February. He’s also already represented England at Under-16 level, underlining the pedigree Spurs are banking on.
In terms of output, Senyah made 16 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League for Wolves last season, scoring against Liverpool and setting up a goal in a game against Blackburn. He’s shown himself to be a versatile presence in central midfield, comfortable in both defensive and attacking roles, and was even deployed out on the left for the under-21s during that Monaco victory.
With his signing now confirmed, Tottenham will be hoping the young midfielder can continue his development within their academy structure, joining a growing group of promising talents at Hotspur Way as the club looks to build for the future.
