Former Arsenal & Liverpool star Alex Manninger dies aged 48

Former Alex Manninger, who once played for Arsenal and Liverpool, has sadly passed away at the age of 48 following a car accident.
His death was confirmed by Red Bull Salzburg in a message shared on X (formerly Twitter), expressing deep sorrow and extending condolences to his loved ones.
Manninger enjoyed a professional career spanning more than two decades. He is especially remembered in England for his time at Arsenal, where he played an important role during their 1997/98 double-winning season, stepping up impressively when first-choice goalkeeper David Seaman was injured.
He later had a brief stint at Liverpool in the 2016/17 season and also built a solid reputation in Italy, featuring for clubs such as Juventus.
