Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on Bournemouth’s breakout star Eli Junior Kroupi, though landing the highly-rated forward this summer looks set to be a tall order.
Spurs have already put together one of the most ambitious transfer windows in the club’s history, adding Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Martin Dúbravka, Jan Paul van Hecke and Mateus Fernandes to bolster Roberto De Zerbi’s squad, with a blockbuster £100 million deal for Sandro Tonali also agreed.
That level of spending hasn’t slowed Tottenham down. Coming off a second consecutive 17th-place Premier League finish, the club is still hunting for more attacking reinforcements as De Zerbi presses on with his squad rebuild ahead of the new season.
Bournemouth’s teenage sensation Eli Junior Kroupi is one name firmly on their list. The French forward burst onto the scene in 2025/26, netting a record 13 Premier League goals in just 35 appearances — the most any teenager has managed in a single season. That form has quickly made him one of the most sought-after young attackers in Europe, drawing interest from several top clubs, with Tottenham understood to be among those monitoring him closely.
But according to Sky Sports’ Michael Bridge, actually getting a deal done this summer looks close to impossible. Bournemouth have no plans to sell one of their most prized players and are instead focused on building the strongest possible squad for new manager Marco Rose.
With no financial need to sell, the Cherries are reportedly ready to turn down anything short of a jaw-dropping offer — sources suggest only a truly outlandish bid would even get Bournemouth thinking about letting the 20-year-old go.
Bridge confirmed Tottenham’s interest is genuine, but stressed Spurs are just one of many suitors circling Kroupi after his stellar campaign, setting up what could be a fiercely contested race if a move ever materialises.
Tottenham have already shown this summer they’re prepared to spend big, shattering their transfer record for both Fernandes and Tonali — a clear signal of intent to compete at the top again. Landing Kroupi on top of that would be another major statement, pairing proven quality with one of the continent’s most exciting emerging talents.
Bournemouth’s current stance makes a deal highly unlikely for now, but Tottenham fans have already seen plenty of “impossible” transfers come together this summer. The Cherries remain committed to keeping their rising star, yet with Spurs still showing real ambition in the market, Kroupi’s situation is one transfer story that could still take a turn before the window closes.
