Fabrizio Romano has shared an update on Thomas Frank’s future after Tottenham were held to a 2–2 draw by Burnley.
Reports before the game suggested Frank was still under serious threat despite Spurs’ midweek win over Borussia Dortmund. That match at Turf Moor was meant to ease the pressure, but Tottenham again struggled for fluency and creativity.
Cristian Romero’s late header rescued a point, yet it may not be enough to secure Frank’s position. Romano explained that while the Champions League victory briefly calmed the situation, the Burnley draw has made matters “complicated” once more.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano said the coming week will be crucial, with Tottenham’s hierarchy expected to assess Frank’s future amid a hectic final stretch of the transfer window.
