RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande is said to be attracting interest from both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, as reported by talkSPORT.

RB Leipzig wide man Yan Diomande is attracting strong interest from both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, according to talkSPORT.

The 19-year-old Ivory Coast international has also caught the attention of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, who have made early checks on his situation. However, Leipzig are reluctant to sell in the middle of the season, and Diomande’s involvement at the Africa Cup of Nations further reduces the likelihood of a January transfer.

Leipzig are believed to have placed a €100m (£87.2m) valuation on the winger, though interested clubs consider that figure inflated and feel a deal could eventually be struck closer to €60m (£52.3m). With that in mind, a summer move is seen as far more plausible. After a standout debut campaign in Germany, Diomande is regarded as one of the brightest young talents in the game. Since arriving from Leganés, he has produced seven goals and four assists in 16 matches across all competitions, meaning Leipzig are under no pressure to cash in.

Manchester United remain in the market for a winger after missing out on Antoine Semenyo, with wide reinforcements still part of their longer-term plans despite midfield being the current focus. Tottenham are also exploring options on the left flank and continue to monitor Manchester City’s Savinho, following a failed attempt to sign him last summer that was blocked by City CEO Ferran Soriano.

Liverpool have previously been mentioned as admirers of Diomande, but talkSPORT reports there has been no recent contact from the Anfield club.
Diomande’s ascent has been rapid. As recently as 2024, he was playing semi-professional football in the United States before earning a move to Leganés. He scored his first senior goal in May 2025 and impressed in just ten LaLiga appearances, prompting Leipzig to trigger his release clause less than a year later.

Since moving to the Bundesliga, Diomande has netted six league goals and one in the DFB-Pokal. On the international stage, he has already collected seven caps for Ivory Coast and has featured in every AFCON game for his country.
