Tottenham Hotspur move quickly to sack Igor Tudor after defeat to Nottingham Forest.

Exclusive: Harry Redknapp has reportedly contacted Tottenham Hotspur to express his willingness to return as interim manager for the rest of the season.

Tottenham are believed to have already reached a verdict on Igor Tudor following their heavy 3-0 defeat at home to relegation rivals Nottingham Forest on Sunday, a loss that has further heightened fears of dropping out of the Premier League.

Goals from Igor Jesus, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Taiwo Awoniyi handed Tudor his fifth defeat since taking charge in February. Spurs now sit 17th in the league table, just one point above West Ham United, who currently occupy a relegation spot after their own 2-0 loss to Aston Villa.

Since succeeding Thomas Frank, the Croatian coach has managed only one victory—coming in the UEFA Champions League against Atlético Madrid (winning 3-2 in the second leg but losing 7-5 on aggregate)—and has earned just one point in the league from a draw away to Liverpool.

Tudor did not attend post-match media duties after the defeat to Forest due to a reported immediate family bereavement, as noted by journalist Alasdair Gold.

Meanwhile, Sean Dyche—widely respected for navigating difficult situations—was reportedly approached but turned down the opportunity. Former Spurs bosses Glenn Hoddle and Redknapp have also been mentioned as possible short-term solutions.

Speaking at the Cheltenham Festival last weekend, Redknapp hinted at his readiness to help if called upon, stressing that the club needs someone to boost morale, rebuild confidence, and steer the team through a tense relegation battle.
