Johnson returns to fitness ahead of Tottenham’s trip to Nottingham Forest
All the latest Spurs injury updates before Sunday’s Premier League clash at the City Ground:
Brennan Johnson (Undisclosed): The forward sat out the midweek win over Slavia Prague and was described as “touch and go” before kick-off, pointing to a minor setback. His availability for the Forest game still awaits confirmation from the manager.
Dominic Solanke (Ankle): Sidelined since August, he underwent ankle surgery in October. His comeback has been pushed back, and he has yet to rejoin full training. Thomas Frank once again declined to give a timeline.
Destiny Udogie (Thigh): The manager confirmed a hamstring issue. He is expected to be out until the New Year or early January 2026.
Dejan Kulusevski (Knee): Out since late last season with a patella problem. He has returned to light outdoor work and is being monitored closely. A late December 2025 return is possible.
Yves Bissouma (Ankle/Suspension): Initially absent due to internal disciplinary reasons, he then picked up an ankle injury on international duty in October. His situation is being handled internally, with a likely return towards the end of December 2025.
James Maddison (ACL): Suffered a major ACL injury during pre-season and required surgery. He is set to miss most, if not all, of this campaign, with a comeback expected in summer 2026.
Radu Dragusin (Knee): Recovering from a serious knee injury. He played in a closed-door friendly recently but is still regaining match fitness. He could be back with the first team around mid-December 2025, though nothing is confirmed.
Kota Takai (Thigh): Out since arriving in the summer. He also featured in the behind-closed-doors friendly, but there is no firm date for his first-team return.
