Luis Enrique Sends Strong Bradley Barcola Message Amid Liverpool Transfer Links

Liverpool supporters will be paying close attention to comments made by PSG manager Luis Enrique regarding Bradley Barcola on Saturday.
Barcola has emerged as Liverpool’s main transfer target in recent weeks, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that the Reds and PSG remain in daily discussions over a possible move for the French international to Anfield.

The 23-year-old is reportedly already on board with Liverpool’s project and has agreed personal terms, while talkSPORT’s Alex Crook claims a bid in the region of £125 million could potentially be enough to convince PSG to sell.

Enrique sends intriguing message over unhappy PSG players
Speaking to the media ahead of PSG’s Trophée des Champions clash with Lens on Sunday, Enrique was asked about the possibility of players leaving the club. His response appeared to leave the door open for Barcola’s departure.
As reported by the Liverpool Echo, Enrique said:
> “We are a very young, very ambitious team. It is important for us to make changes and look for players who enjoy playing our way and who love playing for PSG.”
He added:
> “When a player doesn’t want to come here, or doesn’t have a smile on their face about being here, it is better to find another solution.”
Although Enrique did not mention Barcola directly, his comments are particularly interesting given the winger’s situation.
Could Barcola be nearing the PSG exit?
Enrique previously stated in July that he only wanted committed players in his squad, while Barcola is widely reported to be interested in a move to Liverpool.
There have also been signs that the French winger’s future in Paris could be uncertain. Barcola was an unused substitute during PSG’s UEFA Super Cup victory over Aston Villa earlier this week, while his emotional-looking embrace with sporting director Luis Campos after the match in Salzburg also caught attention.
It remains unclear whether that moment had any connection to his future, but amid the growing transfer speculation, it has certainly raised questions.
If Enrique’s latest comments were aimed at players who are no longer fully committed to PSG, they could potentially indicate that the club is prepared to consider selling Barcola.
With Liverpool continuing negotiations and the player reportedly keen on the move, there is now increasing speculation that the 23-year-old could be heading towards the Parc des Princes exit, with Anfield looking like a possible destination.
