Liverpool have reportedly launched a £50m bid for Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Reds are still determined to strengthen their wide options this summer, despite already completing the signing of Victor Munoz.
Liverpool have explored several winger targets throughout the transfer window, including Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye. They also made multiple attempts to sign Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh, but those bids were rejected.
Romano now reports that Liverpool have opened talks with Crystal Palace over Sarr and have submitted a proposal worth £50m. The winger is reportedly keen on making the move to Anfield.
Liverpool’s pursuit of Sarr comes after their move for Minteh fell through, with Brighton’s valuation proving too high for the Reds.
With the transfer window entering its final week, Liverpool are continuing to work on bringing in another winger.
