Tottenham Agree Deal to Sign Omar Marmoush From Manchester City on Loan With £60m Obligation
Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign forward Omar Marmoush on an initial loan deal that includes an obligation to make the transfer permanent for £60 million.
The Egypt international is expected to undergo a medical in London before completing the move, which would see him become the latest Manchester City player to join Spurs this summer following Savinho.
Marmoush joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 for a reported £59m but struggled to establish himself as a regular starter. He made only eight Premier League starts last season as competition for attacking places limited his opportunities.
Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has been keen to strengthen his attacking options, and Marmoush’s versatility could provide Spurs with another option across the forward line.
The 27-year-old is known for his pace, direct running and ability to operate both centrally and from wide areas. Tottenham will hope he can rediscover the form that made him one of the Bundesliga’s most dangerous attackers during his time at Frankfurt.
The agreement represents another major investment from Spurs as De Zerbi continues to reshape the squad. With Marmoush joining Savinho from Manchester City, Tottenham are adding significant attacking quality ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
Marmoush’s medical is now the next major step before the transfer can be formally completed.
