Spurs Eye Richarlison Swap for ‘Premier League’s Most Skillful Player’

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly weighing up a move for Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye, with a deal potentially seeing Richarlison head the other way, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.

Spurs are still hunting for one more attacking addition before the window shuts, having already brought in Savio and Omar Marmoush from Manchester City this summer. Ndiaye, previously hailed as one of the most gifted players in the Premier League, has now entered the picture as a target, though Monaco striker Folarin Balogun remains on the club’s list too.

Tottenham face competition for Ndiaye, however, with Manchester City also said to be tracking him — and City have themselves been linked with sending Jack Grealish to Everton as part of a possible swap.

A Richarlison deal would add a compelling twist. The Brazilian has been tied to an Everton return in recent windows, and a swap sending him back to Merseyside while Ndiaye heads to North London could work for both sides. Ndiaye’s pace, technique and versatility would give Tottenham a different kind of attacking threat.

Still, Roberto De Zerbi may prefer a out-and-out striker over another flexible forward. Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo is reportedly high on his list, and Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen is also said to be under consideration — though Galatasaray’s reported £129 million valuation could make that a tough deal to complete.

With deadline day next Tuesday, Spurs have limited time left to finalize their business. The squad has already been strengthened in several areas this summer, but De Zerbi will be hoping for one more attacking addition before the window shuts.
