EX-PGMOL CHIEF GIVES HIS VERDICT ON LIVERPOOL’S CONTROVERSIAL PENALTY!
Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett has backed the referee’s decision to award Nottingham Forest a penalty against Liverpool.
Hackett insists Alisson Becker’s challenge on Neco Williams was careless and that referee Jarred Gillett made the right call by pointing to the spot.
Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola strongly disagreed, arguing that the contact came after the situation had already ended and questioning the lengthy delay with the substitution board.
