Ismaïla Sarr’s failed move to Liverpool has sparked a strong reaction from his agent, Diomansy Kamara.
Liverpool reportedly submitted a £50m bid for the Crystal Palace winger, but Palace refused to sell, meaning the 28-year-old ultimately stayed at Selhurst Park.
There were even reports that Sarr had refused to train in an attempt to push the transfer through.
Now, his agent has hit back, arguing that African players deserve more respect when decisions are made about their careers. He believes transfers should not simply come down to clubs negotiating fees, while the player’s wishes are overlooked.
Kamara stressed that behind every transfer is a player with ambitions, dreams and personal choices — and their voice should matter too.
Sarr may have missed out on his dream move to Anfield, but he’ll now have to put the disappointment behind him and focus on Crystal Palace. 👀🔴
