LIVERPOOL COULD REVIVE INTEREST IN YANKUBA MINTEH

Liverpool could reportedly reignite their interest in Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh in a future transfer window after fresh comments from his manager suggested that another opportunity could arise.

The Reds were strongly linked with a move for the 22-year-old during the summer transfer window and are believed to have made significant efforts to bring him to Anfield. However, Brighton were unwilling to let the player leave, and a deal ultimately failed to materialise.

Minteh is currently recovering from an injury and is expected to return to action in the coming weeks. Despite the failed transfer, Brighton manager Fabian Hürzeler has hinted that the winger could attract major interest again if he performs well and helps the club achieve success.

Speaking about Minteh’s future, Hürzeler suggested that strong performances from both the player and the team could put him back in the spotlight and potentially allow him to secure a move to a bigger club in the next transfer window.

This could give Liverpool encouragement, especially as the club had already shown serious interest in the talented winger. The Reds may decide to revisit the situation when the transfer market reopens if Minteh continues to impress.

Liverpool have endured a difficult start to the season and are still searching for their first Premier League victory after draws against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest. Strengthening the squad could therefore remain a priority, while the current players will also need to improve their performances.

With Minteh still regarded as a player with significant potential, his situation could be one for Liverpool to monitor closely in the coming months.
