Liverpool could reportedly return for Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh in the next transfer window after failing to complete a deal for the 22-year-old during the summer.
The Reds made two significant offers for Minteh, but Brighton stood firm on their valuation. An injury also complicated Liverpool’s pursuit, with the Gambian international currently sidelined.
Brighton manager Fabian Hürzeler has now suggested that Minteh could attract major interest again if he performs well after returning from injury. He believes the winger could eventually fulfil his ambition of joining a major club.
Liverpool already strengthened their attack with Bradley Barcola and Victor Munoz, but Minteh remains a potential option if the club decides to add another right-sided attacker.
For now, no January deal is confirmed, but Liverpool’s interest appears far from over. 👀🔴
