Tottenham 0-0 Nottingham Forest: Spurs Rescue a Point but De Zerbi Still Has Major Problems to Solve
Tottenham Hotspur remain without a Premier League win after being held to a 0-0 draw by Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday.
The result gives Roberto De Zerbi’s side their first point of the season, but Spurs are still waiting for their first league goal after three matches. They have now failed to score in all three Premier League games this campaign.
Tottenham struggled to create clear-cut chances, with Omar Marmoush having some of their better opportunities. Spurs ultimately failed to register a shot on target, underlining their problems in the final third.
There was also huge controversy in the second half. Nottingham Forest thought they had taken the lead through Neco Williams, but VAR ruled the goal out for handball. Forest manager Oliver Glasner later questioned the decision.

One of the biggest talking points for Tottenham fans was the competitive debut of Mykhailo Mudryk, who came off the bench. However, the Chelsea loanee had little impact as Spurs searched unsuccessfully for a breakthrough.

De Zerbi admitted afterwards that Tottenham need to improve their decision-making and final pass, while also explaining that changes involving Savio and Destiny Udogie affected the team’s balance.
For Spurs, the point is better than another defeat, but the bigger concern remains obvious: three Premier League games, zero goals and still no victory.
