Harry Kane is reportedly at the center of a potential blockbuster transfer that could shake European football, coming just days before FC Bayern Munich face Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final.
Since joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, the 32-year-old striker has delivered outstanding numbers, scoring 139 goals and providing 33 assists in 143 appearances. His impact has been key to Vincent Kompany’s side securing back-to-back Bundesliga titles, while they remain in contention for a place in the Champions League final, currently trailing PSG 5–4 on aggregate ahead of the decisive clash at the Allianz Arena.
Although Bayern are eager to retain their star forward, Kane has surprisingly been linked with a move elsewhere in Europe. Despite reported interest from PSG, managed by Luis Enrique, his current deal runs until 2027, and an extension appears more likely than a departure at this stage.
Kane has also been tipped for a return to the Premier League, with speculation linking him back to Spurs and to Manchester United. However, the England captain has downplayed those rumours, stating earlier this season that his desire to return to England has “reduced slightly.”
He emphasized that he remains fully committed to Bayern for now, adding that while he wouldn’t completely rule out a future Premier League return, his focus is firmly on continuing success in Germany.
Kane is currently Bayern’s top earner, with reports suggesting he takes home around £414,000 per week.
