Liverpool Prepare Fresh Ismaïla Sarr Bid as Reds Face Transfer Competition

Liverpool Prepare Fresh Ismaïla Sarr Proposal as Al Ittihad Enter the Race

Liverpool are reportedly ready to make another move for Crystal Palace winger Ismaïla Sarr as they continue their efforts to strengthen their attack before the transfer deadline.

The Senegal international enjoyed an impressive campaign at Selhurst Park last season, scoring 21 goals across all competitions and helping Palace secure the Europa Conference League trophy.

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Liverpool are preparing a new proposal for the 28-year-old forward as they look to push ahead with a potential deal.

However, the Reds could face competition from Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad, who are closely monitoring Sarr’s situation and could make their move if Liverpool fail to reach an agreement with Palace.

Tavolieri reported that Liverpool are “making another push” for Sarr, with a fresh proposal expected to be presented to Crystal Palace.

Liverpool’s interest is particularly intriguing given their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola. Should they successfully sign both attackers, it could lead to significant changes within Andoni Iraola’s forward line.

Could Cody Gakpo Be the One to Leave?

If Liverpool manage to complete deals for both Sarr and Barcola, Cody Gakpo could potentially become the player sacrificed to make room for the new arrivals.

Gakpo has produced some memorable moments since joining Liverpool, but his development has arguably not reached the level some supporters expected. Tottenham have reportedly shown interest in the Netherlands international, meaning a potential departure could become increasingly realistic.

For Liverpool supporters, adding both Sarr and Barcola would represent a major attacking overhaul and could give Iraola several exciting options ahead of the new season.

With the transfer deadline approaching, the battle for Sarr’s signature could now become one of the stories to watch closely.
