MAJOR SETBACK! Fresh injury update confirms 23-year-old star will miss Wolves showdown

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been hit with yet another injury worry ahead of Saturday’s must-win Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Destiny Udogie now emerging as a doubt.

Spurs travel to Molineux still searching for their first league win of 2026 after a dreadful run that has seen them go 15 matches without victory. That slump has left them 18th in the table, two points behind West Ham United, who face Everton at the same time.

For Roberto De Zerbi’s side, climbing out of the relegation zone this weekend will require a win and a favour elsewhere, although their better goal difference could prove crucial. However, the Italian manager is already dealing with a growing injury crisis.

Guglielmo Vicario, Wilson Odobert, Dejan Kulusevski, Cristian Romero, Mohammed Kudus, and Ben Davies are all unavailable, and Udogie could now be added to that list. The exact nature of his latest issue remains unclear, but he is considered a doubt for gameweek 34, adding to a season heavily disrupted by injuries.

The left-back has made 24 appearances this season but has already missed 21 games due to knee and hamstring problems, only returning in mid-March. He played the full match in De Zerbi’s first game—a 1-0 loss to Sunderland—and followed it with 76 minutes in the 2-2 draw against Brighton. While his substitution then seemed tactical, it’s now believed he may have picked up a fresh knock, in what was just his 10th league start of the campaign.

Since arriving at Spurs, the 23-year-old has missed 46 games through injury, though he has still managed two goals and five assists in 90 appearances when fit.

Tottenham have often had to cope without him, but his potential absence is still a concern, especially with Davies also sidelined. Djed Spence is expected to step in again at left-back, while January signing Souza is another option, though he hasn’t featured recently. Alternatively, De Zerbi could shift Micky van de Ven out wide, pairing Kevin Danso with Radu Dragusin centrally, but Spence remains the most straightforward replacement if Udogie is ruled out.
