Curtis Jones is open to staying at Liverpool, but only if he can play a leading role, according to The Times.

Curtis Jones could be on his way out of Liverpool F.C. this summer, according to The Times’ Paul Joyce, despite the midfielder’s strong desire to remain at Anfield.

The 25-year-old academy graduate is understood to believe he can become a central figure at the club. However, new boss Arne Slot does not currently see him as a first-choice option, with Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Alexis Mac Allister ahead in the midfield pecking order.

With limited guaranteed minutes, Jones is now reportedly open to considering a move elsewhere in search of regular football.

Interest is already building, with Inter Milan expected to revisit their pursuit after an attempt in January, while Aston Villa F.C. are also said to be monitoring the situation closely.

As things stand, Jones’ future remains uncertain, with a summer decision now appearing increasingly likely.
