Tottenham are keeping close tabs on Fiorentina midfielder Nicolò Fagioli as they look ahead to a potentially significant summer overhaul in the middle of the park, with Italian reports suggesting the Serie A club would find it hard to turn down a serious offer from North London.
The arrival of Conor Gallagher in January has already been seen as a positive step, with the England international growing into an important figure as Spurs push for top-flight survival. That said, the futures of Yves Bissouma and Rodrigo Bentancur remain uncertain, with both players entering the final stages of their contracts, though talks over a Bentancur extension are said to be ongoing.
Head coach Roberto De Zerbi is reportedly already shaping the club’s transfer thinking ahead of next season, with midfield reinforcement considered a key area. Fagioli has emerged as a genuine target, and his appeal to De Zerbi is said to predate his Spurs tenure — the manager was reportedly interested in signing him during his time at Marseille, when the Italian was still on the fringes at Juventus.
Now 25 and thriving in Florence, Fagioli has appeared 44 times across all competitions this season, chipping in with a combined six goals and assists and establishing himself as one of Fiorentina’s key players. He has also earned seven caps for the Italian national team, underscoring his standing as one of the country’s more technically accomplished midfielders.
His estimated market value sits in the €16–18 million range, though Fiorentina may look to push for more given his importance to the squad and the limited options available to replace him.
Separately, on-loan Spurs winger Manor Solomon is currently at Fiorentina, though the Italian club are reportedly undecided on whether to make that arrangement permanent.
For now, however, all attention at Spurs is fixed on staying in the Premier League. A London derby against Chelsea on Tuesday represents a crucial opportunity to take a major step toward securing their top-flight status.
