Juventus are pushing hard to bring Randal Kolo Muani back to Turin, with the PSG forward reportedly ready to accept a reduced salary to help get the transfer over the line.
The Italian giants are in the market for a new striker heading into the 2026-27 season, particularly with Dusan Vlahovic set to depart when his contract runs out later this week. Kolo Muani has shot to the top of their wishlist after catching the eye during his previous spell in Serie A.
The French forward made a strong impression on loan at Juventus in the second half of the 2024-25 season, netting eight goals in 16 league appearances — enough to convince the club to pursue a permanent arrangement.
That pursuit, however, is easier said than done. Juventus spent a large chunk of last summer trying to strike a deal with PSG, only for negotiations to break down late in the window — a setback that ultimately led to Kolo Muani heading to Tottenham on loan for 2025-26 instead.
The good news for Juventus, according to Di Marzio, is that their relationship with PSG has warmed considerably since those fraught talks, creating a more constructive atmosphere for renewed negotiations.
A significant factor in Juventus’ favour is Kolo Muani’s own willingness to compromise. The striker is said to be prepared to take a notable cut on his current earnings of between €7-8 million per season — echoing the financial flexibility he showed during last year’s discussions.
Alfredo Pedullà reports that talks between the clubs are continuing, with both the fee and deal structure still being ironed out. Juventus had originally budgeted around €30 million but are now willing to go higher to secure their man. PSG, for their part, are insisting that any loan proposal must come with a mandatory purchase clause rather than a simple buy option.
With all parties showing movement, a deal looks increasingly possible — the remaining challenge is finding a structure that works for everyone.
