Five Premier League Clubs, Including Arsenal and Tottenham, Chasing World Cup Star Antonio Nusa

Antonio Nusa has become one of the most in-demand attacking players on the market after a string of standout FIFA World Cup showings caught the eye of several Premier League sides, with Arsenal and Tottenham reportedly leading the interest.

The 21-year-old Norwegian has had a breakthrough tournament in North America, with his energetic performances drawing plenty of scout attention. His profile grew even further after he scored the winner in Norway’s 2-1 last-32 victory over Ivory Coast, reinforcing his status as one of Europe’s most exciting young wide players.

His mix of blistering pace, fearless dribbling and ability to play across the frontline has turned him into a hot target with the summer window winding down.

Nusa joined RB Leipzig from Club Brugge back in August 2024 for roughly €21 million, and he’s already made himself a key figure in their squad.

That progress hasn’t slipped under the radar.

Arsenal are said to be watching him closely as they hunt for more depth on the left side of attack, while Tottenham remain very much in the frame too, having long rated the Norwegian and previously held talks with those representing him.

Newcastle are also tipped to join the race, with the Magpies reportedly looking to bolster their wide options ahead of next season. Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are keeping tabs as well, taking the number of interested Premier League clubs to at least five.

The interest isn’t confined to England, either.

In Italy, AC Milan and Napoli are both said to be following his progress, while Atletico Madrid have also identified him as a possible target in Spain. Roma have long admired him too, and Barcelona are keeping an eye on his development, though their financial situation makes a move there far less straightforward.

Leipzig, for their part, aren’t under any real pressure to sell.

Nusa is contracted until 2029, giving the Bundesliga club real leverage, and they’re expected to hold out for a substantial fee. Reports put his valuation somewhere between €50 million and €60 million, though an offer nearer the bottom of that range could be enough to get talks moving if structured right.

As for Nusa, a switch to the Premier League is thought to appeal to him as he looks to test himself against the best and keep progressing.

Any decisions on his future, though, are expected to wait until Norway’s World Cup run is over. With a quarter-final against England still ahead, further big performances could push his价值 and the list of suitors even higher before the window shuts.
