Liverpool Supporters Demand ‘Awful’ Star Be Dropped From Starting Lineup Next Campaign Following Villa Defeat

Liverpool supporters have turned on one of their own players after the team’s 4-2 loss to Aston Villa in a Premier League clash on Friday evening.

The Reds made the trip to Villa Park for their last away fixture of the league season, needing a victory to cement their spot in next season’s Champions League. However, they found themselves trailing after Morgan Rogers netted late in the first half. Virgil Van Dijk restored parity with a header early in the second period, but Ollie Watkins struck twice to put Villa firmly in control. John McGinn then capped the victory with a superb effort in the 88th minute, before Van Dijk grabbed a late consolation in added time.

Despite the collective disappointment, supporters reserved particular frustration for one player’s display, taking to social media to air their grievances over what they witnessed on the pitch.
