Liverpool Star Facing Uncertain Future Amid Growing Concerns Over His Form.

Liverpool are facing a difficult situation with Harvey Elliott, whose future at Anfield appears increasingly uncertain.
The arrival of new head coach Andoni Iraola, combined with a disappointing campaign last season, was always going to raise plenty of questions about the squad. However, Liverpool’s slow progress in the transfer market has made those decisions even more complicated.
The failure to secure their initial target, Yan Diomande, has forced the club to explore alternatives, with Bradley Barcola now emerging as a potential option. But with Barcola’s availability still unclear, Liverpool are unable to make firm decisions on some of their existing players.
Elliott is one of those caught in the middle. His role in the squad remains uncertain, particularly with Liverpool’s plans for the wide positions still taking shape.
More importantly, questions are beginning to emerge over the player himself. Elliott has struggled to rediscover the creativity, movement and influence that made him such an exciting prospect during the latter stages of Jürgen Klopp’s reign.
That decline is understandable. After losing a significant portion of last season, Elliott has effectively been forced to start rebuilding his rhythm and confidence from scratch. The bigger question is whether Liverpool are prepared to give him enough competitive minutes to do so.
There is no doubt that Elliott needs regular football to rediscover his best form. Liverpool must therefore decide whether they can provide him with that opportunity. If they cannot, finding him a new club may ultimately be the best solution for both parties.
Liverpool fans will undoubtedly hope Elliott can return to the level he showed in 2024, when Klopp even described him as the club’s best player for a spell. If he can rediscover that form, there is clearly a place for him in this Liverpool squad.
For now, however, Elliott’s future remains uncertain. If Liverpool can give him the minutes he needs, it could be a huge boost for both player and club. If not, they may have to consider a different path.
