Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly received encouraging news in their pursuit of Victor Osimhen as their need for a proven goalscorer becomes increasingly urgent following a disappointing opening-day defeat to Brentford.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side suffered a heavy 3–0 loss at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday, August 22, exposing several weaknesses despite Spurs’ huge summer spending. The defeat has only increased pressure on the club to bring in a top-class striker before the transfer window closes.
