Tottenham appear to be closing in on the signing of Savinho from Manchester City, with reports claiming the 22-year-old Brazilian winger has already completed his medical in North London. However, the two clubs are yet to officially confirm the transfer, as some final details still need to be resolved.
Savinho is reportedly seeking more regular first-team football, and Tottenham could offer him a bigger role under Roberto De Zerbi. His pace, creativity and ability to take on defenders would give Spurs another dangerous option in the final third.
The winger has registered seven goals and 16 assists for Manchester City, while his previous spell at Girona saw him score 11 goals and provide 10 assists in 41 appearances.
Tottenham are also continuing their efforts to strengthen their attack, with Omar Marmoush among the other forwards linked with a move to North London. Recent reports indicate Spurs have agreed a loan deal for Marmoush with an obligation to buy worth around £60 million, subject to the final completion of the transfer.
If Savinho’s move is completed, it would be another major step in De Zerbi’s attacking rebuild as Spurs look to add more pace, creativity and unpredictability to their frontline.
