🚨 BREAKING: Tottenham coach drops a HUGE bombshell that could change everything at Spurs.

Tottenham Face Major Pape Matar Sarr Transfer Twist

Pape Matar Sarr’s future at Tottenham has taken another dramatic turn, with both Galatasaray and Monaco pushing to secure his services.

On August 20, reports emerged that Sarr had agreed personal terms with Galatasaray on a deal worth around €9 million per year. Spurs have already turned down an €18 million offer from the Turkish giants and are holding out for €25 million.

Galatasaray have since improved their proposal to €20 million, with negotiations reportedly reaching the final stages.

However, their delay has opened the door for Monaco to make a late move. According to Senegalese outlet Taggat, the Ligue 1 club are now close to securing Sarr on a season-long loan, with no purchase option currently mentioned.

Monaco boss Filipe Luís is reportedly a huge admirer of the 23-year-old midfielder and has already spoken with him. Sarr is said to favour a move to Monaco over Galatasaray.

The major obstacle, however, is Tottenham’s approval. Sarr has reportedly reached an agreement with both clubs, but neither has yet reached an agreement with Spurs.

Tottenham are unlikely to favour a loan deal, especially with a permanent sale potentially allowing Roberto De Zerbi’s side to raise significant funds. Sarr remains under contract until 2030 and is currently valued at around €30 million by Transfermarkt.

Last season, the Senegal international featured 37 times for Tottenham, playing 2,212 minutes.
