Liverpool confirm one major change at the club for next year; it hasn’t happened since 2010

Liverpool Confirm Major Club Change for 2027 — First Time Since 2010

Liverpool have confirmed a major change that will take place next year, ending one of the club’s longest-running sponsorship partnerships.

From 1 June 2027, Turkish Airlines will become Liverpool’s main commercial partner and replace Standard Chartered as the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor.

Standard Chartered has featured on Liverpool’s shirts since 2010, meaning the Reds will have their first shirt sponsor change in 17 years.

The new Turkish Airlines agreement is reportedly worth more than £60 million per year, potentially generating around £300 million over five years for Liverpool.

Standard Chartered will continue its relationship with the club as a global partner rather than leaving completely.

The switch marks only the second change to Liverpool’s main shirt sponsor since 1992, following the end of the iconic Carlsberg era in 2010.

The additional commercial revenue will provide another boost to Liverpool as the club continues to strengthen its finances and compete for major honours.
