Liverpool have received a major boost ahead of their Champions League meeting with Atlético Madrid at Anfield on Wednesday night.
Atlético are expected to be without Alexander Sørloth, who is still recovering from injury, while Arnau Ortiz will miss the match through suspension.
Despite those absences, Diego Simeone still has dangerous attacking options. Alex Baena has already scored three goals in four games this season, while Giuliano Simeone remains a threat from the right. Marcos Llorente will also be one to watch, having scored twice on each of his previous two visits to Anfield.
Liverpool will also have their own attacking concerns, with Hugo Ekitike and Federico Chiesa unavailable through injury. Nevertheless, the Reds will be hoping to build on their recent win at Ipswich and repeat last season’s dramatic victory over Atlético at Anfield.
