Tottenham and Manchester United have their eyes on Club Brugge’s rising striker Nicolò Tresoldi

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have both sent scouts to Belgium to monitor Club Brugge striker Nicolò Tresoldi, with the 22-year-old emerging as a player attracting growing attention.

Tresoldi was watched during Club Brugge’s clash with Aston Villa on Tuesday night and managed to make his mark despite his side’s 3-2 defeat, calmly converting a penalty.

The German forward has continued to build his reputation with his performances in Belgium, and his latest display has reportedly done little to reduce the interest from Premier League clubs.

For Tottenham, the move could be particularly interesting as the club continues to assess its attacking options. United are also keeping a close eye on the striker as they look at potential additions for their frontline.

A transfer battle between Spurs and United could now be one to watch.
