Tottenham Hotspur have intensified their hunt for a new forward, submitting a bid for PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani.
The North London side are actively looking to bolster their attack this summer, and Kolo Muani has emerged as a priority target. The Frenchman’s pace, flexibility, and ability to operate across the front line have long made him admired around Europe, and he fits well with Roberto De Zerbi’s style of play.
De Zerbi is said to rate the 27-year-old highly and sees him as someone who could bring something different to Spurs’ forward line. PSG are reportedly willing to let him leave on a loan with an obligation to buy attached, a setup that could work well for Tottenham as they balance their transfer spending this summer.
Spurs face stiff competition though. Juventus are still the frontrunners for his signature, with talks between the Serie A giants and PSG already progressing. A number of Bundesliga sides are also keeping tabs on the situation, making this one of the more contested transfer sagas of the window.
Kolo Muani has shown his ability at both club and international level, known as an all-around forward who can both create and finish chances. His athleticism, smart movement, and work rate have kept him in high demand despite a mixed run of form in Paris.
For Spurs fans, landing a player of his profile would be a big deal. Convincing him that North London is the right move would send a clear signal of ambition heading into the new season.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can leapfrog Juventus, but the race for Kolo Muani is clearly heating up.
