Former Cesc Fàbregas is reportedly open to the possibility of becoming Tottenham Hotspur’s next manager.
The former Arsenal F.C. and Chelsea F.C. midfielder has made a strong impression as head coach of Como 1907 in Italy’s top flight, attracting interest from several leading English sides — including Tottenham. According to TEAMtalk, Spurs admire his work and he would be willing to consider a move to North London.
Rapid rise in management
Since being appointed Como’s permanent manager in 2024, Fàbregas has quickly emerged as one of the game’s most promising young coaches. Across 69 matches in charge, he has averaged 1.54 points per game, implementing an attractive, attack-focused style.
Under the 38-year-old, Como have climbed to sixth in Serie A and are firmly in contention for a UEFA Champions League place. Their progress has significantly enhanced his reputation, putting him firmly on the radar of Premier League clubs.
Tottenham’s interest
With Igor Tudor currently in interim charge, Tottenham are seeking a permanent appointment, and Fàbregas is understood to be high on their shortlist. Despite his past affiliations with Arsenal and Chelsea, he would not dismiss the opportunity to manage Spurs.
Those previous London ties are not expected to prevent a potential deal if Tottenham formalise their interest. However, they are unlikely to face no competition, as other top clubs are also monitoring his situation. For now, Fàbregas remains focused on guiding Como toward Champions League qualification before making any decisions about his future.
