Tottenham winger Manor Solomon is attracting transfer interest this summer, with Leeds United among the clubs keeping a close eye on his situation following his standout stint at Elland Road.
The 26-year-old arrived at Spurs in July 2025 but saw his first season at the club derailed by a serious injury in October that ruled him out for the rest of the campaign — a major blow to what had promised to be a significant year for the Israeli international.
Prior to that setback, Solomon had been in brilliant form during a loan spell at Leeds in the Championship. He was one of Daniel Farke’s most important players throughout the 2024/25 season, contributing 10 goals and 13 assists in 41 appearances as the Yorkshire club won promotion back to the Premier League.
Solomon Reveals Deep Connection With Leeds
Speaking to Israeli outlet Sport5, Solomon was open about the special place Leeds holds in his heart, recalling the moment he knew he had found somewhere he truly belonged.
“I really connected with Leeds — it’s a club that will always be in my heart. Especially the fans, they’re amazing,” he said. “When I stepped onto the pitch for my first game and heard the Leeds supporters, I told myself, ‘I’ve come to the right place.’ By the end of the season, I wanted to either stay at Tottenham or return to Leeds. Discussions were taking place between the clubs, but the valuation was high. We spoke with Tottenham before I returned for pre-season. They told me they wanted me to stay because the coach liked me, but after only six training sessions, I suffered an injury. After that, Leeds’ interest cooled.”
Having initially picked up a calf injury in June 2025, Solomon did not return to full fitness until late August. He subsequently had loan spells at Villarreal and Fiorentina, though the Italian club are reportedly unwilling to activate their €10 million purchase option and are pushing for a lower fee instead.
Premier League Remains The Goal
Despite his uncertain standing at Tottenham under Roberto De Zerbi, Solomon has made clear that playing in the Premier League next season remains his top priority.
“I have unfinished business in the Premier League. But if it doesn’t happen, that’s okay,” he said.
With Spurs expected to make a call on his future in the coming weeks, Leeds could find themselves with a fresh chance to reunite with the winger who helped fire them back into the top flight.
