Tottenham are pushing ahead with a deal to sign Savinho from Manchester City as Roberto De Zerbi looks to inject serious pace and creativity into his frontline this summer.
Two Wingers On The Way
Savinho will not be the only wide player arriving at Spurs this summer. Reports indicate Tottenham are targeting two wingers as part of their attacking rebuild, with De Zerbi keen to give himself plenty of options out wide.
Leao Drops Massive Premier League Hint
One name firmly on Tottenham’s radar is AC Milan star Rafael Leao — and the Portuguese forward’s latest comments will have raised plenty of eyebrows in North London.
The 26-year-old has publicly declared his desire to leave the San Siro after seven years at Milan, and crucially, he has specifically named the Premier League as his preferred next destination. Leao made clear that a move to England or La Liga would allow him to showcase his talents at the highest level, insisting he is ready to test himself against the best players in the world.
Spurs Face Stiff Competition
Tottenham’s interest in Leao is not new — the club reportedly made contact over a deal last summer as well. However, according to CalcioMercato, Spurs will face serious competition from Manchester United and Chelsea in the race for his signature.
Milan are believed to be willing to let Leao go for a fee in the region of £43-52 million — relatively modest for a player of his quality and profile.
With Savinho progressing and Leao publicly pushing for a Premier League move, Tottenham’s attacking rebuild is gathering serious momentum.
