Liverpool youngster Lewis Koumas has reportedly emerged as a loan target for Burnley despite catching the eye with a series of impressive performances during the Reds’ pre-season campaign.

The 20-year-old forward has made a strong impression on new Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola during the club’s tour of the United States.

Koumas even found the net in Liverpool’s 4-2 win over Sunderland in Nashville, further boosting his chances of earning a place around the first-team squad.

However, with intense competition for attacking positions at Anfield, Liverpool could consider sending the youngster out on loan again to ensure he gets regular playing time.

Burnley Monitoring Koumas
