PSG ready to change stance on Barcola as Liverpool push intensifies, with new price revealed after Romano’s ‘all-in’ bombshell

Liverpool’s hopes of signing Bradley Barcola have received a huge boost, with PSG reportedly preparing to U-turn on their £145m asking price.

The Reds have been pushing hard for the French winger after missing out on Yan Diomande, and Barcola has emerged as one of their biggest attacking targets.

Despite being a rotation player at PSG last season, Barcola remains one of Europe’s most exciting wide players. Liverpool have also been encouraged by claims that he does not intend to renew his contract beyond 2028 and is open to starting a new chapter elsewhere.

The biggest stumbling block has been PSG’s valuation. The French giants have reportedly demanded around £145m, making a deal extremely difficult for Liverpool.

But Fabrizio Romano insists the transfer is still very much alive.

Romano revealed that Liverpool continue to negotiate with PSG and remain “all in” on Barcola. While there is still a financial gap between the two clubs, discussions are continuing, with the player’s financial terms reportedly already agreed.

Sky Sports’ Vinny O’Connor previously warned that PSG would need to lower their demands for either Liverpool or Arsenal to have a genuine chance of signing the winger.

And now, that could be happening.

talkSPORT’s Alex Crook claims PSG could slash their asking price to around £125m. That would bring Barcola’s valuation down to the same level as Liverpool’s Premier League-record fee for Alexander Isak.

Liverpool may still be reluctant to pay that much, but with PSG bringing in more attacking reinforcements—including Ferran Torres—the door could finally be opening.

The Barcola saga may have just taken a dramatic turn.
