Getafe have reportedly opened talks to sign Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic as the Reds consider a summer departure for the 21-year-old.
Bajcetic remains highly regarded at Anfield but has struggled to secure a regular first-team role, largely due to recurring injury problems. With regular playing time crucial for his development, a move away could be beneficial.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Getafe have already started discussions with Liverpool, with both clubs exploring a transfer formula that could work for all sides.
The Spanish midfielder, capable of playing as a defensive or deep-lying central midfielder, could provide Getafe with greater defensive security and technical quality in midfield.
For Liverpool, allowing Bajcetic to leave could also open the door for them to bring in a more experienced defensive midfielder capable of anchoring the team.
With his contract running until 2027, Liverpool may prefer to cash in now rather than risk losing him for nothing next year. Meanwhile, Getafe could view the talented youngster as a potential long-term investment.
