Arsenal Eye Shock Swap Deal for Juventus Star Yildiz Before Transfer Deadline
Arsenal are reportedly considering a blockbuster swap deal involving Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his squad before the summer transfer window closes.
The Gunners have already added Bruno Guimaraes, Christos Tzolis and Piero Hincapie this summer, while also agreeing a £51 million deal for Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa.
However, Arsenal are still searching for another attacking option. Their pursuit of Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior ended after the Brazilian committed his future to the Spanish giants, while interest in Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez remains.
According to reports, Kenan Yildiz has now re-emerged as a target. Arsenal are said to have made fresh enquiries about the Juventus forward, who has established himself as one of Europe’s most exciting young attackers.
Interestingly, Juventus are reportedly interested in Gabriel Martinelli, potentially opening the door for a swap deal between the two clubs.
Martinelli has attracted interest from elsewhere this summer, although he reportedly has no desire to join Galatasaray. Arsenal are believed to be willing to consider his departure if they receive a sufficiently attractive offer.
Yildiz, 21, has impressed since joining Juventus from Bayern Munich. The Turkey international scored 10 Serie A goals and registered six assists last season and is considered one of the brightest young talents in European football.
Juventus are reportedly demanding at least £60 million for Yildiz. That means Arsenal could still need to add a significant cash payment if Martinelli is included in a potential exchange.
With the transfer deadline approaching, Arsenal could face a major decision over whether to push ahead with the deal now or wait until a future window.
For Arteta, landing Yildiz could provide another exciting attacking option ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League campaign.
