Tottenham are reportedly considering a bold move to land a centre-forward who has racked up 27 goal contributions this season, with the player seen as an ideal fit for the club ahead of next summer, according to Fussballdaten.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy in the upcoming summer transfer window, as claimed by Fussballdaten.

The Guinean forward has been one of the most prolific strikers in European football over the last five years. He began that run with 13 goals at Amiens before moving to Rennes, where he chipped in with a further 25. His profile rose significantly during his spell at VfB Stuttgart, where he scored 44 goals and contributed 5 assists, playing an instrumental part in the club’s first Champions League qualification in over a decade.

Guirassy then made a marquee switch to Dortmund last summer, and the 30-year-old wasted no time establishing himself as one of the Bundesliga’s deadliest forwards. He racked up direct goal involvements in 47 of the team’s goals across 50 games in his debut season. That sharpness has carried into the current campaign, with the striker having contributed to 27 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions.

With the summer window approaching, several leading European clubs are said to be monitoring the 6ft 1in centre-forward, according to Fussballdaten.

Spurs are among those in the running, with the report describing him as a “serious option” for the north London club. They are believed to view him as an ideal fit for the physical, goal-scoring role they want to fill, though their ability to pursue a deal may hinge on where they finish in the league table. Unlike certain elite clubs who can trigger a £43m release clause, Tottenham would face direct negotiations with Dortmund and potentially a steeper asking price.

They will also need to fend off competition from Fenerbahçe, AC Milan, and Juventus, all of whom are said to be interested.

Spurs’ league position remains precarious — a 1-1 home draw with Leeds United on Monday, in which Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalised after Mathys Tel’s opener, left them struggling near the drop zone. Only three clubs have surrendered more points from winning positions than Tottenham’s 19 this season.
