Eli Junior Kroupi Transfer Bombshell as Latest Twist Sees Deal Take Shape Amid Major Shake-Up in Savinho Chase

Tottenham Hotspur have already bolstered key areas of their squad this summer, having addressed both defence and midfield, and attention has now firmly turned to adding more punch up front.

Recent reports suggest Spurs are ramping up their chase for Manchester City winger Savinho, who has reportedly become the club’s top target to strengthen their wide options. Talks are said to be gaining traction as Tottenham push to land another headline signing before the new campaign gets underway. Savinho himself has kept the rumour mill spinning with cryptic social media posts, while former PSV teammate Xavi Simons has also shared messages that fans believe point toward a possible reunion in north London, adding extra intrigue to the saga.

Despite the growing focus on Savinho, Tottenham haven’t given up on their interest in highly-rated French striker Eli Junior Kroupi. Reports last week claimed Spurs were readying a big-money bid, having earmarked the young forward as their long-term number nine target. Chatter around Kroupi has quietened somewhat as attention shifted toward Savinho, though the club’s interest is said to remain genuine.

According to well-connected Tottenham insider Szyexcl, Kroupi is still very much on Spurs’ radar, with the club keeping tabs on his situation while working in parallel to get a Savinho deal over the line — suggesting Tottenham could yet strengthen both flanks and the centre-forward spot before the window shuts.

Landing Kroupi, however, won’t come easy. Journalist Pete O’Rourke recently indicated that even an offer as large as £85 million might not be enough to prise the youngster away from Bournemouth. The Cherries are reportedly determined to hold onto their key men as new boss Marco Rose gears up for his first season in charge, with Kroupi viewed as central to their long-term plans and the club reluctant to sell.

Tottenham could also find themselves fighting off serious competition should Kroupi become attainable later in the window, with Barcelona, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain all previously linked with the French prospect — meaning Spurs may need to move fast if they want to win the race for one of Europe’s most exciting young attacking talents.
