Liverpool Could Seal Two More Departures Soon After Kieran Morrison’s Loan Exit

Liverpool have confirmed Kieran Morrison’s season-long loan move to Sheffield Wednesday, and two more departures could reportedly be completed very soon.

Ifeanyi Ndukwe is expected to join Spanish side Levante on loan after travelling to Spain, with the move designed to give the Austrian youngster valuable first-team experience. His situation could be reviewed in January, when he is expected to meet the requirements for a UK work permit.

Meanwhile, Calvin Ramsay is set to spend the season with Scottish club St Mirren. With the 23-year-old entering the final year of his Liverpool contract, the loan is expected to effectively bring his time at Anfield to an end.

Ramsay has made only four senior appearances for the Reds and appears unlikely to extend his stay beyond his current deal. Ndukwe, however, remains viewed as a player with potential to return and compete for a place in Liverpool’s first-team squad.

The trio could therefore all leave Liverpool on loan, but their situations are very different, with Ndukwe’s move aimed at developing his future while Ramsay’s departure could mark the end of his Liverpool career.
