Tottenham eye surprise striker after Savinho and Marmoush moves

Tottenham are continuing to push hard to strengthen their attack, with the club reportedly looking at another forward after advancing deals for Manchester City duo Savinho and Omar Marmoush.

Spurs have reached an agreement with Manchester City for Savinho, with the deal reportedly worth £75 million up front plus £10 million in add-ons. The Brazilian winger has been one of Tottenham’s major attacking targets throughout the summer.

At the same time, Tottenham are advancing negotiations for Omar Marmoush. Reports indicate that Spurs are attempting to sign both City attackers rather than choosing between them. Sky Sports also reports that Tottenham want to add three new forwards this summer, with Marmoush among their options.

However, Spurs’ attacking plans may not end there. The club are reportedly considering a surprise Premier League striker as another potential addition before the transfer window closes. The idea is to provide greater competition and more goals up front, particularly as Roberto De Zerbi looks to completely reshape Tottenham’s attack.

The move would represent a major statement from Tottenham. Rather than relying on one new attacker, De Zerbi appears determined to build a deeper and more dangerous forward line capable of competing at the highest level.

The potential arrival of Savinho and Marmoush, combined with another striker, could give Spurs several different attacking options and allow De Zerbi to rotate his forwards throughout the season.

There is also still interest in Cody Gakpo, although Liverpool’s position has made that deal more complicated. Football365 reports that Tottenham are considering Gakpo alongside Savinho rather than as an alternative, while Liverpool have previously been reluctant to sell.

🔥 What it means for Spurs

If Tottenham manage to complete these attacking moves, it would be one of the most ambitious transfer windows in the club’s recent history. De Zerbi would have a significantly different attack at his disposal, with Savinho, Marmoush and potentially another Premier League striker all arriving as part of the rebuild.

For now, the surprise striker remains a developing story rather than a completed transfer, so the identity of the player and whether Spurs can reach an agreement will be something to watch closely as the deadline approaches.

In short: Tottenham aren’t finished. Savinho is close, Marmoush is being pursued, and Spurs are reportedly looking at one more attacking signing to complete De Zerbi’s forward rebuild. 🔥⚪
