Tottenham have reportedly told Pape Matar Sarr that he is available for transfer this summer, a decision that has reportedly frustrated the Senegalese midfielder. According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Spurs are willing to listen to offers for the 23-year-old.
Sarr’s apparent reaction has added to the speculation. The midfielder reportedly deleted Tottenham-related posts from his social media accounts, leading to further questions about his future at the club.
💰 Tottenham want €25m
Galatasaray are reportedly pushing to sign Sarr and have already made two offers. Their first bid was around €18 million, while a second proposal was reportedly worth €20 million. Tottenham are said to have rejected both offers and are holding out for approximately €25 million.
The two clubs are therefore reportedly around €5 million apart in their valuations. Galatasaray may need to sell one of their current players first before they can raise enough funds to complete the deal.
Interestingly, the report says Sarr is open to joining Galatasaray, which could make negotiations easier if the Turkish club manages to meet Tottenham’s asking price.
For now, Sarr’s future remains uncertain, but Tottenham appear prepared to let him leave if their valuation is met, while Galatasaray remain determined to push ahead with the transfer.
